Tasting notes
The dark ruby-colored, admirably concentrated 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon Clone 4 reveals many positive attributes - ripe cassis fruit, loamy soil scents, and pain grille notes. It is a rich, medium-bodied, structured, pure wine that needs 4-5 years to settle down. It should last 20-25 years. If the tannin becomes meshed with the wine's other elements, it will be outstanding. If not, the score will fall. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2020. Tel. (707) 963-2411

Red-ruby color. Currant aroma overshadowed by sandalwood, woodsmoke and espresso. Supple but quite oaky in the mouth, with fruit flavors of sweet black cherry, strawberry and currant. Slight cooked fruit character throughout. Tannins are a tad dry but even.
