2014 Venge Zinfandel Signal Fire Vineyard

The 2014 Zinfandel Signal Fire Vineyard emerges from an 8-acre, old gnarly-vine parcel of Zinfandel in Calistoga. This is a great Zinfandel--rich, with blackberry and briary fruit, pepper, graphite and spice, meaty, rich, very full-bodied and super-concentrated. Both of the 2014 Zinfandels from Venge Vineyards are no shy children at 15.3% alcohol, but are incredibly well-balanced and concentrated. This is a blockbuster Zinfandel to drink over the next decade.
