A medium-bodied red with aromas and flavors of crushed redcurrants and blackcurrants, as well as violets, conifer and lemon zest. Raw cacao, too. Sleek, fine tannins and crisp acidity. A little short on the finish. Try from 2021.

The only red presented, the 2017 Cabernet Franc comes all from Coombsville and has lots of cool-climate notes of blue fruits, tobacco, pine forest, and sappy herbs as well as a medium-bodied, tight, nicely concentrated style on the palate. It's well done, balanced, and a rock-solid expression of Cabernet Franc.
