Score 92/100 · Drink 2024-2029, Eric Guido, Vinous, May 2023

The 2021 Grenache is perfumed and refined, with dusty rose giving way to wild strawberries and Violette Pastille. This is round and juicy on the palate with a mineral tinge that comes on early, cascading ripe red fruits over a core of zesty acidity. The 2021 leaves behind dusty tannins and exotic spices and finishes with admirable length. This was matured entirely in large- and small-format neutral oak for eighteen months.

Score 95-97/100 · Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Dec 2022

Due to be bottled in February of 2023, the 2021 Grenache is shaping up to be a complex yet generous Grenache. It has a medium ruby color and youthfully gregarious aromas of raspberry, strawberry and pomegranate complemented by tones of tobacco and tea leaves, orange peel and underbrush. The medium-bodied palate features concentrated yet finely detailed berry fruit and earthy nuances, a support of chalky tannins and juicy acidity and a very long finish. 975 cases are expected to be made.
