Score 90/100 · Drink 2014-2019, Robert Parker, Dec 2014

The 2012 Pinot Noir North Bridge comes from a block of Pinot Noir grapes planted in well-drained, sandy, loamy soils. Revealing a character much different than its sibling, it possesses more pomegranate, plum, sweet dark cherry and earth characteristics. It cuts a slightly broader mouthfeel than the Triple Seven, but has silky tannins (this winery is top-notch when it comes to tannin management) as well as a pure finish. The oak is pushed to the background in this sexy, impressive 2012. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.
