Score 91/100 · Drink 2015-2025, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Feb 2015

Gallet's 2010 Cote Rotie certainly isn't shy on the nose and gives up a massive array of peppery spice, cured meats, gunpowder, green olive tapenade and sweet currant and raspberry-like fruit. This is followed by a medium-bodied Cote Rotie that has lots of character, solid mid-palate depth and an all around balanced feel that will benefit from short-term cellaring. This is a classic Cote Rotie that has more concentration than the 2012 and 2013, and will have another decade of longevity.
