2009 Nemerever - Cabernet Sauvignon Block 1

Medium to deep garnet colored, the 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Block 3 leaps from the glass with lovely red and black currant preserves scents, followed up by hints of kirsch, new leather, spice cake and forest floor with a fragrant waft of potpourri. Medium-bodied, elegant, refreshing and juicy, the palate possesses bags of energy with mineral sparks galore and a firm, fine-grained frame, finishing long and perfumed. A fantastic example of this refreshing, more delicate style! This should continue to age very slowly.
