2019 Domaine Louis Moreau Chablis Les Clos Clos des Hospices dans Les Clos

A walled vineyard at the bottom of Les Clos, owned exclusively by the Moreau family and also made by Christian Moreau. Tank sample. More obviously reductive than the other Louis Moreau wines. There’s good citrus fruit underneath but here I think that winemaking technique is overdone, smothering everything else. Maybe it will come round with time and aeration? (JH)
