Score 91/100 · Drink 2017-2021, Josh Raynolds, May 2017
(made with whole clusters and aged on its lees for five months, with weekly stirring) Pale gold. Vibrant, mineral-tinged citrus and orchard fruit aromas are complemented by suggestions of sea salt, jasmine and toasty lees. Nervy, palate-staining Meyer lemon, pear, honeysuckle and candied ginger flavors are underscored by a repeating mineral quality that gains power as the wine opens up. Delivers a serious punch of flavor but comes off lithe, finishing with excellent clarity and floral persistence.
