Tasting notes
The 2019 Pinot Noir Bramble Hill Vineyard opens with a burst of raspberry preserves and cherry lacquer accentuated by hints of dark chocolate and spiced blood orange. It's rich with silken textures and depths of ripe red and black fruit embellished by exotic spices and a balancing core of zesty acidity. This finishes potent and long with tart berry tension puckering the cheeks as hints of sour cranberry fade. In a word, intense.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Bramble Hill Vineyard from Ribbon Ridge takes on a more introspective and woodsy nature and is less quick to reveal itself. Pouring a magenta hue, it’s flush with aromas of forest herbs, licorice, wild black raspberries, and porcini. The palate comes to life, with pure concentration of ripe fruit, broad tannins that remain well-focused, and its earthy profile running seamlessly underneath. A more muscular and full-bodied wine from the range, it will do well with another year or two in bottle. Drink 2025-2035.
