Tasting notes
(a blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc); Deep ruby-red. Black raspberry, dark chocolate and licorice on the nose. Sweet, lush and creamy, with dark berry and licorice flavors complicated by some herbal nuances of menthol and tobacco leaf. Firmly structured wine, finishing with fine, dusty tannins and traces of licorice, spice and tobacco leaf.

The 2002 Terezetto, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, exhibits a deep ruby/purple hue, a plush, opulent palate, and unmistakable elegance as well as complexity. With attractive, complex aromatics as well as impeccable balance, it is a singular statement of French-inspired California winemaking. I especially admired its long finish, and notes of cedar, spice box, black currants, and cherries. It should drink well for 10-15 years. Tel. (707) 965-9485; Fax (707) 965-9609
