Tasting notes
Liquid Farm continues to improve their rosé in each vintage, and their orange-hued 2014 Rose Mourvedre Vogelzang is the best yet. Starting out slightly reductive, it opens up beautifully to show a Bandol-like bouquet of orange blossom, citrus, light strawberry and distinct minerality. Medium-bodied, nicely textured and with both richness and bright acidity, enjoy this outstanding effort over the coming 12-16 months. This is one of the few rosés coming out of California that I'd put up with the best coming from the south of France. For the quality, it's also reasonably priced.

Light orange. Ripe red berries, pomegranate and a hint of vanilla on the deeply perfumed nose. Fleshy, broad and spicy in the mouth, offering juicy raspberry and tangerine flavors and a touch of candied rose. Rich yet lively and focused, finishing with strong punch and a lingering floral nuance. This wine was only recently bottled and gained a lot from aeration.
