Score 15.5/20 · Drink 2016-2019, Jancis Robinson MW, Feb 2014
Exceptionally dark crimson. Smells very leathery and 'made'. Sweet and luscious at first and then awkward in terms of texture and tannins. Possible hole in the middle. Not a very comfortable drink. (JR)

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2011 Reserve Syrah gives aromas of warm plums, blackberry preserves and cassis with an undercurrent of Sichuan pepper and Chinese five spice. Medium-bodied and with plenty of black fruit and spice flavors to fill the mouth, it is nicely structured with a medium to firm level of rounded tannins and refreshing acid, finishing with very good length. Drink it now to 2018+. Imported by Ste. Michelle Estate, Woodinville, WA.
