Score 93/100 · Drink 2012-2021, Jay S Miller, Wine Advocate, Oct 2011

The 2009 Pinot Noir Shea Vineyard has the best aromatics of this portfolio. It displays an impressive perfume of spicy black fruits, sandalwood, and exotic spices. This is followed by an opulent, plush offering unusual for its richness in this more elegantly styled vintage. This lengthy Pinot will offer prime drinking from 2012 to 2021. As usual, owner/winemaker Mark Vlossak has turned out a first-class collection of new releases. Tel. (503) 378-1526; www.stinnocentwine.com

Ruby-red. Complex, perfumed bouquet of raspberry and cherry compote, potpourri, allspice and anise. Sappy, gently sweet red fruit flavors gain flesh and heft with aeration, with an energetic undercurrent of minerals adding vivacity. The spicy, focused finish clings with impressive tenacity.
