Score 87/100 · Drink 2018-2028, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2019

The 2016 Santenay Rouge displays notes of sweet berry fruit, candied peel, forest floor and dark chocolate, followed by a medium-bodied, tangy palate with a ripe core of fruit and chewy structuring tannins. More rustic than the suave 2017 rendition, it will make for characterful drinking over the coming decade.
