A Cinsault field blend with Moscatel from Huarilihue, Itata, made in large earthenware vessels. Murky in color, it presents hints of orange petit fours , herbs and dried leaves. This wine really comes into its own in the mouth with the clay, dusty texture, fat and fine tannins. Focused with a long finish, it’s one for adventurous palates.

100% Cinsault. Old vines. Vineyards located near the sea, although the winery is in Santiago de Chile. Fermented and aged in old earthenware jars. Neither oenological products nor commercial yeasts were used. Open wine (herbal, black but delicate fruit, complex). Very well done, with freshness and finesse. I love it! It has a mineral expression, with a soft palate and floral flavours. Spicy and delicate finish, a wonderful Cinsault! (FC)

100% Cinsault from granitic soils. Destemmed. Semi-carbonic fermentation in amphorae. No fining or filtration. Mid purple. Old leather, spice and crushed-rock mineral notes over rose-scented raspberry fruit. More old-leather and stony notes on the palate entry, with a subtle, grainy tannic texture, brisk acidity and savoury red fruit through the finish. Different. (TJ)

This is a beautiful wine that shows fresh raspberries, citrus, herbs and hints of terracotta and iron. Medium-bodied with a lovely, steely texture, presented by medium-chewy tannins and loads of fresh red fruit. Purity is the calling card here. Drink now.
