Score 88/100 · Drink 2016-2020, Robert Parker, Dec 2016
The 2014 Investor Proprietary Red is a blend of Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and probably a few other grapes. A lot of it comes from their own vineyards, and the result is a bistro-styled, Mediterranean, soft, savory wine with roasted herbs, red and black fruits, medium body and soft tannins. Drink it over the next 3-4 years.

About the producer

Stags' Leap Winery
Often confused with Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, Stags’ Leap Winery is another Stags Leap District estate. With a long history, its Petite Sirah has cult status among aficionados, although – like most Napa estates – it produces a range of Cabernet Sauvignon wines.
