Tasting notes
Vivid red. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes candied dark berries, cola and sassafras, with a spicy flourish. Sappy and precise, offering tangy red fruit flavors that gain weight and sweetness with air. Shows very good energy on the finish, which clings persistently with gently tannic grip.

Vivid ruby. Powerfully scented nose offers red and dark berry preserves, incense, Asian spices and dried flowers. Fleshy black raspberry and candied cherry flavors are deep and palate-coating but carry no excess weight. Shuts down with air but there's clearly very good material here. The long, chewy finish lingers with impressive intensity. Stash this away for at least a few more years.
