Good deep ruby-red. Very ripe aromas of plum and chocolate. Densely packed and sweet, with slightly medicinal cherry and menthol flavors. Not yet as nuanced as the Sapphire Hill bottling and still a bit youthfully disjointed. But the Lees won't release this until next fall. Finishes with dusty tannins.
