Tasting notes
From vines more than 100 years old, the 2021 Zinfandel Jolene's Vineyard was matured in 64% new French oak for nine months. It’s scented of wild berry jam, grapefruit, lavender and youthful touches of cedar. The light-bodied palate is chalky and refreshing with generous, floral fruit and a long, flavorful finish. 225 cases produced.

The 2021 Zinfandel Jolene's Vineyard has a similar profile to the Winberrie Knolls Vineyard but amplifies it with more density in its notes of ripe blackberry liqueur, violets, and black pepper spice. With more opulence on the palate, ripe tannins, and a silky, coating mouthfeel, it reveals notes of mocha, black cherry, and turned earth. Allow another year for this to shed some of its baby fat and drink 2025-2035.
