Score 91/100 · Drink 2025-2038, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Aug 2022
Mainly from the Drachenstein and the Klosterberg, the 2021 Rüdesheim Estate offers a clear, pure and fresh, very bright and slightly greenish bouquet with notes of crushed stones. Lush and round but also fresh and piquant, it has remarkable phenolic grip due to the sun exposure. There has been no maceration here for years, like in all Rüdesheim vineyards. The finish is energetic and saline, still young and grippy but promising. A wine to keep for three or four years. 12% stated alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted in July 2022.
