Tasting notes
Made in a ripe, pedal to the metal style, the 2015 Chardonnay Stagecoach Vineyard (aged 28 months in 80% new French oak) gives up smoking good notes of buttered peach, pineapple, biscuit, and toasty oak nuances as well as a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, beautifully textured style on the palate. It’s not for white Burgundy lovers but is a terrific California Chardonnay. Drink it over the coming 3-4 years.

The 2015 Chardonnay Krupp Brothers from the Stagecoach Vineyard is another intense, mineral-laced wine. A full-bodied, alpha style of Chardonnay with plenty of power and glycerine, notes of tangerine oil, white peach, marmalade and loads of minerality all jump from the glass of this full-throttle Chardonnay, which has great acidity and minerality. Drink it over the next decade.
