Tasting notes
Blackberries, blueberries and cream, bursting fresh black fruits, hints of flowers on the nose, transform into a bit of heat lightly obscuring the palate. Underneath, those same notes on the nose are on the palate accented by dark cocoa powder. Ample acidity keeps the mouth watering, outpacing the tannins. The structure is a bit spindly but the wine avoids feeling blousy, instead just focused on mouth-watering flavour. Moderately long finish. This wine does feel as if it will evolve and further integrate with a bit of time in the cellar. Enjoy it alongside food to also see more of its flavour. (ECB)

Deep garnet-purple, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Home Ranch Cuvee offers notes of black and red currants, blueberries and cigar boxes with hints of bay leaves, menthol and mocha. Full-bodied and richly fruited in the mouth, the generous black berry and menthol flavors are well supported by firm, ripe tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long.
