Tasting notes
Good bright ruby.Black cherry, blackberry, licorice and spicy oak on the slightly high-toned nose. Sweet, dense and sappy, with juicy acids giving shape and definition to the berry, spice and floral flavors. Finishes quite firm, with dusty tannins that avoid dryness.Plenty of personality here.

The dark ruby/purple-tinged, medium-bodied 2004 Zinfandel Iron Hill Vineyard possesses peppery forest floor, underbrush, and briery, cherry-like fruit characteristics. It should be drunk over the next 3-4 years. Kudos to Jeff Cohn for another brilliant line-up.
