Tasting notes
Medium ruby-purple colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir Temperance Hill Vineyard has a rather closed, broody nose, offering glimpses of charcoal, black earth and moss-covered bark with a core of red cherries and wild strawberries, plus a waft of Provence herbs. Medium-bodied and firmly structured with chewy tannins and a crisp backbone, the red berry flavors are tightly wound around earthy notions, finishing with an herbal lift.

Vivid red. Highly expressive cherry and raspberry aromas are complicated by suave floral and Asian spice nuances. Sappy, sweet and broad on entry, then tighter in the midpalate, offering juicy, densely packed red and dark berry flavors that become sweeter and more energetic as the wine opens up. This really stains the palate. Shows a suave lavender pastille quality on the strikingly persistent finish, which is framed by silky, harmonious tannins.
