Tasting notes
Ruby-red. Powerful, spice- and mineral-accented aromas of red and dark berry preserves, incense and candied lavender pick up cola and subtle earth notes with aeration. Sweet and concentrated but also energetic on the palate, offering concentrated black raspberry, cherry pie, spicecake and floral pastille flavors and a bracing suggestion of spicy white pepper on the back half. Finishes smooth, sweet and extremely long, featuring resonating floral and spice notes and fine-grained tannins that come in slowly to add framework and gentle grip.

Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2015 Pinot Noir Temperance Hill Vineyard has a red currant and Douglas fir tree-laced nose with suggestions of lavender, damp soil, underbrush and dried cranberries. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is fresh, vibrant and crunchy, with great intensity and a long, harmonious finish.
