Tasting notes
Chocolate, leafy herbs, tobacco, and assorted dark fruits emerge from the 2020 Mill Creek Upland Vineyard, a big, round, full-bodied beauty with lots of fruit and mid-palate depth, firmer tannins, and enough obvious structure to warrant a solid 4-5 years in the cellar. It's another serious, age-worthy effort from Figgins. It doesn't have the finesse of some of the top releases, but it's one hell of a wine that will keep for 20-25 years. 75 cases.

Striking, intense character of blackberries and wild berries, together with hints of black licorice, cocoa beans, pencil lead and moist earth. Full-bodied with a firm and chewy tannin structure and plush, ripe fruit , leading to a rich, velvety finish. Notes of crushed stones and nut shells to close. 92% cabernet sauvignon and 8% petit verdot. Better after 2025.
