Tasting notes
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Reserve is one of the most complete wines I have tasted from Canard. Inky, rich and voluptuous, but with terrific underlying structure, the 2016 has a lot to offer. I would prefer to cellar it for a few years to allow the tannins to soften, but there is certainly plenty to look forward to. Bittersweet chocolate, espresso, plum, licorice and menthol build into the potent, structured finish.

Deep purple-black colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Reserve comes prancing out of the glass sporting beautiful purity and featuring vibrant red and black currants, black raspberries and wild blueberries with touches of mocha, underbrush, cigar box and rose hips. The medium to full-bodied palate is built like a brick house with a solid structure of ripe, grainy tannins and tons of fruit, finishing long and perfumed.
