Score 89/100 · Drink 2019-2025, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Jan 2019
The pale to medium ruby-purple colored 2016 Pinot Noir Estate gives up wild strawberries, raspberry leaves and Bing cherries with wafts of herbs and underbrush. The palate is medium-bodied and plush with a lively backbone and red berry-laced finish.

Score 90-92/100 · Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Oct 2017
A barrel sample, the 2016 Pinot Noir Gran Val Vineyard reveals a medium ruby-purple color and nose of mulberries, warm red currants and black cherries with hints of lavender, raspberry leaves, fertile loam and charcoal. Medium to full-bodied, it delivers plenty of expressive black and red berry notions, supported by chewy tannins and a lively backbone, finishing long and earthy.
