Tasting notes
(15.4% alcohol) Full, slightly hazy yellow. Wild, dusty aromas of grapefruit and citrus blossom. Large-scaled, lush and fat, with grapefruit and spice flavors framed and intensified by bracing acidity. Finishes sweet and very long, with enticing notes of lemon drop, citrus rind and minerals. This should enjoy a slow and positive evolution in bottle.

Citrus oil, honeyed grapefruit, orange and lemon blossoms emerge from the Chablis-like 2002 Chardonnay Hawk Hill Vineyard. Full-bodied with a nice texture, this cool climate Chardonnay should drink well for 5-7 years. Tel. (707) 433-6425; Fax (707) 433-6546
