(15.9% alcohol; from heavier clay soil, while the South Knoll is from sandier loam) Full deep ruby. Brooding but less precise aromas of red fruit jam, bitter chocolate and smoke. A sweet wave of cassis fruit; not as precise or vibrant as the South Knoll but still fresh rather than cooked.
