Tasting notes
Coming all from To Kolan, the 2016 Cabernet Franc Oakville has a pretty bouquet of red and black fruits, earth, spring flowers, and violet aromas. It has a wonderful earthy/forest floor character, medium body, ripe yet present tannins, and a good finish. Including 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, drink it any time over the coming decade or more.

A new wine in this range, the 2016 Cabernet Franc emerges from three blocks within To Kalon: V, Monastery North and Monastery South. Aromatic, sensual and super-expressive, the 2016 has a lot going on. Cedar, dried flowers, espresso, dried cherry and menthol all grace this compelling, promising wine that shows terrific energy and plenty of persistence.
