(Sauzet bought these vines in 2010 after having previously purchased the fruit): Complex, delicate, slightly minty nose conveys subtle notes of crushed-rock minerality and wild rose. Dense, sappy and surprisingly sweet on the palate, displaying a strong impression of extract to its flavors of citrus fruits, white peach and flowers. The wine's very long, chewy, mineral-inflected finish should give it very good longevity.

The 2014 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru La Truffière has a very slight reductive note, touches of walnut and smoke coming through, later a mote of apricot blossom. The palate is well defined with a strong saline entry. There is good density here, a powerful Truffières with a lovely sharp citric twist animating the finish. Just two barrels produced this year but it is worth seeking long 'n hard for.
Pale yellow. Highly aromatic nose combines white peach, minerals and noble minty herbs. Dry and taut in the mouth, with peach and salty mineral flavors conveying excellent energy and perfumed lift. Finishes subtle, long and very light on its feet. Boudot purchased these 55+-year-old vines in 2010, along with the Champs Gains; he had previously bought the fruit from these parcels.
