Green-hued yellow. Vibrant, mineral-accented citrus and orchard fruit scents, along with pungent floral and herb overtones. Shows fine delineation to the energetic pear, Meyer lemon and honeydew flavors, which deepen steadily as the wine opens up. Closes smooth, silky and very long, with repeating mineral and floral notes and a spicy touch of white pepper.

The 2020 Roussanne is exotic and spicy on the nose, offering pure, defined and layered scents of peaches and guava accented by lime peel, grapefruit, white pepper and musky floral perfume. The medium-bodied palate is plush, rounded and layered, with seamless lift and a very long finish. This was still in barrel when tasted and due to be bottled at the beginning of 2022. 940 cases of this lovely cuvée are projected.
