Score 93/100 · Drink 2013-2021, Robert Parker, Jun 2013

The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Leonardini Vineyard from St. Helena was aged 22 months in French oak, and fewer than 500 cases were produced. A superb effort, it offers up copious aromas of licorice, camphor, truffles, chocolate, creme de cassis and toasty oak. Full-bodied, rich, velvety-textured and mouthfilling, this impressive beauty is drinking well and appears to be close to full maturity. It should easily keep for another 5-8 years. Tel.
