NV NONV Delavenne Pere et Fils Brut Reserve Dom Basle

From Bouzy. 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay from the 2015 and 2016 harvests. Spontaneous fermentation. Disgorged January 2022. Dosage 7.2 g/l. Some appealing light autolysis on the nose. The rich mushroom quality of Pinot on the nose and then the refreshment of Chardonnay on the palate – a thoroughly appealing combination! Lots of lemon flavour on the palate. Not enormously persistent but very well made. (JR)
