Tasting notes
Wafting from the glass with aromas of cherries, raspberries, spices and candied peel, the 2018 Moulin-à-Vent Domaine des Hospices Civils de Romanèche Thorins is medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, with a solid core of fruit and muscular tannins that assert themselves on the finish. Since 1926, Collin Bourisset has enjoyed the exclusive right to produce the wines of the Hospices Civils de Romanèche Thorins, and this bottling stands out from its label design shared with Armand Rousseau's Chambertin.

Handsome label from the Hospices. Dark crimson. Very juicy and well balanced and forward. I could drink this tonight. Lovely balance between fruit and freshness. Good graphite streak. (JR)
