2015 Riverain Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon

From an up and coming vineyard that's increasingly making some of the most powerful, opulent wines in the vintage, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Tench Vineyard sports a deep purple/plum color as well as an incredibly sumptuous bouquet of plums, black cherries, incense, lavender, chocolate, and dried flowers. About as opulent and sexy as it gets, it nevertheless glides across the palate with no sensation of weight or heaviness. This full-bodied beauty has a lifted, elegant texture, terrific balance, and is already impossible to resist. It's not going to shut down and should show spectacularly well for 10-15 years or more.
