(all whole clusters) Brilliant red. Sexy, spice- and mineral-tinged raspberry and blood orange scents are complemented by hints of incense and woodsmoke. Sweet and seamless on the palate, offering lively red fruit preserve and lavender flavors that show very good clarity and back-end cut. A bitter cherry note comes up with air and carries through the long, spice-accented finish, which is framed by talc-y, even tannins. A measly six barrels of this suave Pinot is all there is to go around.
