Score 85/100 · Drink 2016-2018, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Jun 2016

The 2007 Pinot Noir Elizabeth's Reserve has a subtle wild mushroom-scented bouquet with red berry fruit, a touch of musk and forest floor. The palate is medium-bodied-bodied with rather coarse tannin, though the acidity lends adequate freshness. It attenuates slightly towards the finish, which has a touch of dryness that suggests this should be consumed in the near future. Tasted May 2016.

Deep red. Raspberry and mocha on the nose. Light-bodied, tangy red and dark berry flavors are braced by a zesty mineral quality. The finish is a touch short but is refreshingly brisk and focused.
