Score 85/100 · Drink 2013-2017, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Oct 2013

Medium garnet-purple colored, the 2012 Gimblett Gravels Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon Malbec has a nose of black plums, blackcurrants and black cherries with underlying violets and dried herbs hints. Medium-bodied, it is just a little green and herbal in the mid-palate with a medium level of chewy and somewhat bitter tannins, tart acid and a reasonably long finish. Drink it now to 2017. Imported by Ste. Michelle Estate, Woodinville, WA.
