2011 Bonny Doon Syrah Bien Nacido Vineyard X Block

I loved the 2011 Syrah Bien Nacido X-Block and this 100% Syrah from one of the great blocks in the central coast was fermented with 50% whole clusters and spent 18 months in older puncheons. Violets, black and blue fruits, game, and spring flowers all flow to a medium-bodied, pretty, supple, and beautifully textured red that has a touch of Côte Rôtie flair. Drink it over the coming 4-6 years.
