2015 Fattoria Nittardi Maremma Toscana Nectar Dei

The 2015 Nectar Dei (55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Petit Verdot and 10% Merlot) is a dark and brooding red wine with a soft and accessible personality. The bouquet is redolent of Cabernet-driven aromas of garden spice and medicinal herb, but you also get the rich sweetness of cherry and blackberry preserves that comes from the Merlot. You taste oak-driven tones of cinnamon and crushed clove on the finish. This wine ages in barrique for two years. Some 8,000 bottles were made.
