The deep ruby-hued, slightly herbaceous, but luscious 2003 Pinot Noir Melville Vineyard boasts sweet black cherry, dried herb, earth, and underbrush characteristics. This medium-bodied, pure, well-structured, moderately tannic Pinot should age nicely for 4-5 years. Tel. (805) 686-2906

Moderately saturated bright red. Captivating nose offers spices, herbs, pepper and rose petal. Juicy, penetrating and pure on the palate, with the red cherry fruit lifted by a lively floral component and framed by bright, well-integrated acidity. Not a fleshy or fat style; in fact, still a bit youthfully aggressive. But this is intenselyflavored and vibrant.
