Score 91/100 · Drink 2017-2025, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Nov 2017

Full-bodied, creamy and plush, Romain Duvernay's 2016 Beaumes de Venise makes a convincing argument that Beaumes de Venise is cru-worthy (the majority of wines from this appellation leave me unconvinced). Provence herbs accent ripe cherry and stone fruit in this standout that shows both power and complexity.
