Tasting notes
The 2019 Cuvée Lizzy is especially alluring this vintage, its expression approachable yet finely detailed. It is a blend of 43% Malbec, 34% Petit Verdot, 17% Cabernet Franc and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, made with free-rum juice and matured for 16 months in 80% new French oak. It has alluring scents of blue and black berries, purple flowers, charcuterie and aniseed. The medium-bodied palate offers silty tannins and noteworthy freshness this vintage, and it finishes very long and floral.

Always a Malbec-dominated release, the 2019 Cuvee Lizzy checks in as 43% Malbec, 30% Petit Verdot, 17% Cabernet Franc, and the balance Cabernet Sauvignon brought up in 80% new barrels. It never lacks for color, and the 2019 is dense purple, offering a gorgeous array of blue fruits, violets, iron, and leafy herbs. Rich, medium to full-bodied, beautifully pure, and fabulously balanced, it's just another impeccably made, sensational wine from this team that will have 10-15 years of longevity if properly stored.
