Score 86/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous

Saturated ruby-red. Dark berries, sandalwood and minerals on the nose; at once jammy and a bit green. Fat and silky, with cassis and graphite flavors along with an intrusive dill note. The distinctly overripe/underripe quality carries through to the finish, which features lightish tannins and a dry edge. Concentrated but ultimately rather one-dimensional.
