Tasting notes
The medium red 2021 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is floral and pure, with aromas of wild raspberries, candied flowers, rosemary, and juniper. Medium-bodied, with refined tannins, fresh acidity, and an elegant, refined, linear feel, it floats on the palate and is a spectacular entry to the range of Pinot Noirs from Ross Cobb. Beautiful. Drink 2024-2032.

Pale crimson – very pale rim. Intense nose. Lots of current pleasure, with bright red-berry fruit but a slightly dry finish. Lightly herbal end. (JR)
90% estate fruit, 10% bought in. 40% whole-bunch fermented. Aged 22 months in oak (30% new). First vintage of this cuvée. Beautiful peppery nose. Exquisite purity of fruit. Considering the length in barrel, the oak is well integrated but certainly noticeable in its perfumed spiciness. On the finish, the fruit has a persistent candied note. Tangy. (RH)
The 2021 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is a new wine, and what a wine it is! The purity of the fruit is just striking. Ross Cobb blended five sites and several clones to craft this exquisite, vibrant Pinot Noir. Crushed flowers, bright red-toned fruit, orange peel and spice all race across the palate. The 2021 is flat-out gorgeous. That's all there is to it.
