Score 89-91/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Jan 2012

(from Champans and Les Angles; 10% vendange entier ): Deep bright red. Fresh raspberry, red cherry and sweet oak on the nose, with a spicy accent. Sweet and creamy on the palate, but with nicely integrated acidity giving the wine good definition and freshness. The flavor of sour cherry carries through onto the finish, which features fine-grained tannins and very good lift. This will need time in bottle to gain in nuance.
