Good full red. Dark berries, smoked meat and exotic oak notes on the nose. Ripe and chewy, with flavors of dark berries, black cherry and underbrush nicely framed by sound acidity. Not at all overly sweet. Finishes with firm-edged tannins and good length.

Dark plum/ruby-hued, the 2003 Pinot Noir Frances Thompson (446 cases) possesses the potentially most complex bouquet, with notes of forest floor, violets, black raspberries, and spice. Sweet, rich, full-bodied, and gorgeously textured, this superb Pinot Noir offers a long finish as well as impressive precision. It should drink well for 5-7 years. Tel.
